Works from my projects Blood Matters (2022) and The Mother of Frankenstein’s Monster (2021) are currently on view at Tegnerforbundet in Oslo. The show is curated by Amalie Vestergaard Olsen. Other participating artists are Esra Duzen, Unn Devik, Aske Thiberg, Muhammad Shahid, Oda Skaathun, Oscar Häggström and Linda Hærnes.

About the exhibition (in norweigan, from Tegnerforbundets website)
“‍I utstillingen Læner mig ømt mod natten presenteres åtte unge kunstnere som på ulike måter arbeider med tegning. Felles for disse kunstnerne er at tegning fungerer som et redskap som åpner opp for forestillinger om en annen verden.”

The Mother of Frankenstein’s Monster (2021) is featured in 51st edition of M.A.M.A.

“Procreate Project, the Museum of Motherhood and the Mom Egg Review are pleased to announce the 51st edition of this scholarly discourse. Literature intersects with art to explore the wonder and the challenges of motherhood. Using words and art to connect new pathways between the academic, the para-academic, the digital and the real, as well as the everyday: wherever you live, work and play, the Art of Motherhood is made manifest. #JoinMAMA #artandmotherhood

Other participating artists are Amanda Ferm, Cilia Wagén, Kim Jansson, Max Göran, Nudist-Leninistiska Kulturföreningen, Oscar Kaleva, Sara Andreasson, Josefine Östberg Olsson.

About the exhibition (in Swedish, from Konstepedemins website)
“I utställningen ges konstverken allt utrymme, både visuellt och i text. Utställningen har ingen egen titel och på affischen står istället konstverkens titlar att läsa utan någon specifik inbördes ordning. Någon curatoriell inramning finns inte heller utöver ambitionen att ge de här konstverken utrymme.”

Clustering Illusions through Uncommon Patterns at Göteborgs Konsthall (Göteborg, Sweden)

“This year the MFA Fine Arts programme – with its focus on questions of publicness and the role of the artist in society – will present an expanded publication made of physical and digital components. The pandemic has required an innovative approach to the making public of the artistic enquiries of the MFA students, with art work being shared around the city at various sites, as well as online, and through a physical publication.

This expanded project will begin online with a public opening on the 24th of April, and runs until the 16th of May, at which date a physical publication will be launched. Ten students will take part marking the endpoint of their 2-year MFA studies, bringing together diverse works and enquiries, ranging from studies of gender and cyber identity to folk culture and multilingualism.”

Welcome to take part in a series of distributed moments at Index, presented by the participants of the summer course Art and Distribution: Exhibition practices and other ways to distribute in collaboration with Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design.

Throughout the summer, Index has been a platform for working through decentralized ways of looking at distribution and how its myriad connective potentials relate to artistic practice today. Course participants have been using the exhibition space to follow seminars, workshops, reading sessions and to reflect on their own practices in relation to distributed times and distributed minds.

Public presentations by:
17:00 Henrik Söderström
17:50 Linnéa Hansander
18:40 Vincent Duraud
